Cos.Mec. S.r.l. presents two specific products: DUAL RIVETING MACHINE and SCS 1.
The DUAL RIVETING MACHINE was designed and manufactured to insert and turn over a rivet, comprising a bi- or tri-metallic contact inside a metallic conveyor with holes.
The machine is fitted with a single feeder for the central conveyor (feeder) and two stations (left and right) each comprising a grabber for insertion of the contacts and a pneumatic press (hammer) for overturning.
Via a chute at the output of the vibrating unit, the rivets are conveyed close to the grabber where two pads (upper and lower) block the contacts in the insertion position. The pneumatic grabber where the rivet is held is then opened and the two pads lower until the rivet has been placed into the hole in the conveyor.
A drag system then moves the rivet in the hole to the overturning station where a pneumatic press blocks it and overturns the contact in the conveyor using a counter-mould.
The machine is designed for hook-up with the two shearing machines.
The speed can be adjusted from 0 to 175 cycles per minute for a maximum of 350 contacts overturned per minute.
The WELDED CONTACT PRESS (SCS1) was designed and manufactured to create bimetallic contact rivets.
The machine is designed for the loading of two coils of metal wire, cut and processed to create the welded contact.
The machine is fitted with a series of safety devices controlling the cycle for unsupervised functioning.
The speed can be adjusted from 0 to about 120 cycles a minute according to the type of rivet to be produced.
